Spring really showed up this month! A few days before March 1st, these tiny crocus blooms appeared. This yellow variety is new in my garden this year, although I have several old and new purple blooms as well.
My daffodils have been in bloom for several weeks now, too. In between some of my daffs are another new-to-me bulb, Siberian squill, which are a petite blue bloom. I love the way these look in mass plantings, so I hope mine naturalize and multiply over the years!
I currently have a few varieties of flower seeds started in jugs, via the Winter sowing method: evening primrose, purple coneflower, daisies, foxglove, and lavender. This is my first time trying the method but I'm hopeful it works well for me!
I hope your garden, however big or small, old or new, is looking beautiful and bringing you joy!
